Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties involved in the operation of echocardiography equipment to obtain and record two-dimensional and M-mode graphic representations of the heart utilizing high frequency sound waves to assist physician in the diagnosis of cardiac malfunctions, malformations and abnormalities. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining EXCEL values. Demonstrates a high level of knowledge and practice utilizing critical thinking skills in performing test on the following patient populations: Cardiac/Acute Myocardial Infarction. Qualifications include Associate Degree in Applied Science or related field, 1-3 years equivalent combination of education and experience required, and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Must be registered through ARDMS Registry within 18 months of hire date.
