Key Responsibilities
- Able to comfortably communicate and relate to patients and their families, while providing explanations and reassurances consistently.
- Holds team accountable to meet performance standards designed to drive overall productivity and exceptional patient care, while being willing to assess personal performance and accept feedback from peers and supervisors.
- Effectively collaborate throughout the organization to ensure optimal fiscal stewardship and process improvement, while remaining compliant with regulatory requirements including state and federal, meeting current documentation standards and policies, .
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment and provide care as needed and within scope, while prioritizing safety and maintaining low adverse events, exceptional patient satisfaction scores and necessary quality improvement studies.
- Monitor inventory of department supplies and ensure that established stock levels are met, and supplies are replenished as necessary.
- Administration of sedative agents to ensure the patient is comfortable during procedure in accordance with physician orders.
- Build and manage an engaged productive team in a positive and motivating work environment by effectively resolving internal conflict, providing policies and procedures guidance, and unifying employees towards one common goal.
- Relay consistent feedback and coaching regarding performance and provide relevant training and in-service education opportunities to ensure necessary improvement and standards are met.
- Thrive in an accelerated change agility environment with the ability to learn and adopt new responsibilities based on shifting demands, while demonstrating an ability to be flexible, organized, and function under stressful situations and timelines.
Required Basic Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience: 2 years of nursing management experience | 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or cath lab setting
- Credentials/Licensures: Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Georgia OR Current Compact Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Georgia | Current BLS and ACLS Certification
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Experience: 2 years in Interventional Radiology or Cath lab setting | Interventional Radiology operations (including patient flow and quality and safety) | Intermediate computer skills (familiarity with EMR system functionality)
- Credentials/Licensures: Current CSRN Certification
