Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sonography and be proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations using ultrasound technology. This role is vital in providing high-quality patient care, particularly in outpatient environment. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and effective patient management.

Duties

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for various medical conditions.
Collaborate with medical staff to interpret sonographic findings and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient conditions.
Utilize aseptic techniques while conducting procedures in the cath lab and other clinical settings.
Monitor vital signs during procedures and provide necessary support to patients throughout the examination process.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques.

Requirements

Proven experience in sonography, preferably within a Level I or Level II trauma center.
Familiarity with anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations with precision and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient interaction.
Certification or licensure as required by state regulations for sonographers.
