Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques, particularly in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology. The Ultrasonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to obstetric and gynecological imaging.
Utilize sonography equipment effectively to capture clear images for diagnostic purposes.
Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately assess patient conditions.
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain patient safety.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss findings and assist in developing patient care plans.
Document all ultrasound findings accurately and maintain patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Provide compassionate patient care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have regarding the procedure.
Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and sonography techniques.

Skills

Proficient in maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn ultrasound practices.
Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to ultrasound imaging.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to diagnostic procedures.
Expertise in aseptic technique to ensure safe imaging practices.
Competent in medical imaging technology and equipment operation.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.74 - $31.00 per hour
